Strangely enough, I put Community on in the background when about to make this entry. Unconscious.

Discovered in 2010: can't say. Most were discovered/further developed in 2009 or before—PS:One, the higher ed webbie community, twitterfolks, the theater group I work with. That said, new groups have formed in 2010, mostly smaller take-offs on larger groups: #chewp (Chicago Higher Ed Web Professionals), who I'll see tomorrow; smaller groups within PS:One, etc.

I expect 2011 will continue this trend: niches within niches. I've gotten more selective over time rather than expansive.
